    Description

1867 Document, Bill Invoice for $ 35.00, US REVENUE # R15c On Document with CDS
This Billhead Receipt comes from the famous Alfred Smith Barnes.
A Publisher then located in New York City.
a Famous figure during the 19 Century Period
Lots of handwriting and reqests to pay.The .00 due was quite a bit of money 1n 1867.
The Billhead has a US Revenue stamp affixed to the bottom which is tied to the document with a round Hand Struck CDS with the company name.
The Stamp itself is a Scott # R15c (perforated ) and with a great centering.
It has a rather blotchy printing all over , probably due to the Pigment used in this particular printing run of the stamp.
Take a lose look , I would say "Uniformly Blotched Ink " that has a nice presence.
    Payment Policies
I accept the following forms of payment: PayPal. Florida residents will be charged 7.00% sales tax as required by Florida law.
