This is a 1953 guide book to Cherokee, North Caolina. It includes information on the reservation, recreation and attractions like Unto These Hills, the museum and the Oconaluftee Village. There's a map and black and white photos.There's a list of local motels and ads for motels, restaurants and shops. The 8 1/2 by 11 inch booklet has 23 pages. Included is a small blue piece of paper that was tucked on the windshield of a guest at the Mountaineer Motor Court - it notes "You's winders ware a smight bit dirty. So weun's kleaned them far ye. So youn's kud enjoy ourn's views better."
The cover of the booklet has stains and some paper loss,the pages are lightly toned.
