Vintage Eight-Page Softcover Magazine, "
The School Saver
", Issued in the interest of school children, their parents, and teachers by Society for Savings IN THE CITY OF CLEVELAND measures approximately 8-1/2" x 11".  The Christmas-themed magazine is marked WINTER 1955, and promotes the establishment of savings accounts by schoolchildren.
The Vintage Magazine contains numerous photographs and illustrations to accompany the text.  Included are articles, stories and features of interest to children.  The magazine has a two-page article titled "Seeing Eye Dogs . . . " which describes the training dogs received in Morristown, New Jersey.  Another article about Williamsburg is titled "Where History Lives Again".  Brain Busters are included to challenge the school-age readers.  And, readers are invited to "Visit the Cookie Tree" during the Christmas Season at Society's Main Office on Public Square in Cleveland, Ohio.
The Vintage Magazine is
