1981 Honda CBX

Up for auction is a 1981 CBX that’s been customized. It runs and drives but needs work. Great to fix and ride as is or as a restoration project
Key points
Has clean title and key
Starts runs idles and drives, engine doesn’t knock or have excessive smoke
Fires on 4 cylinders, number 2 and 5 do not fire
Speedometer and bars are from a 1979 CBX
Odometer reads 81,000 but is not original to the bike ( previous owner changed to 1979 it so he could have the 150mph one, 1981 only went to 85! )
Was titled last in 2002 at 12,000 miles and estimated to have approximately 40,000 actual
This auction is for the bike only, I have a few boxes of parts, for CBXs too much to list that I will offer to the winner of the auction first before I list the parts for sale. I do have a very nice original exhaust that was taken off an 81 and stored inside that is available at extra cost as well.
This is a no reserve auction and will sell to the highest bidder. I am not accepting offers. It’s not fair for the people watching and bidding on the bike.
Overseas buyers welcomed , I work with one of the shipping companies in New Jersey and send bikes out of the country all the time. Many years of experience selling bikes out of the country.

I can ship to the lower 48 to most areas for 5( keep in mind it sometimes takes 30 days)
If you are coming in person I have ramps here , bring a truck, van, trailer and straps, I will load it and tie it down for you
