    Description

    832. WWI 1913 US Military Aviator's badge in sterling and gold plate by Blackington.  Because of the rollerpin closure, this badge appears to be from the 1930's as this is when Blackington began using this type of pin catch-prior to then, they had been using the traditional"J" style pin catch.  This item is exact in EVERY detail to the original badges made by Rock Island Arsenal-check out the silver inside the signal corp flags.  You're not likely to find another badge this nice for anywhere near this price.  This item weighs 0.3 oz.  I had planned to list this item at 00 but since the holidays are upon us, I decided to reduce the listing price in order to entice some of the advanced collectors.  Don't let this get away.
