ANTIQUE GEORGIAN PASTE NECKLACE - EARLY 1900'S
FACETED EMERALD GREEN & CLEAR PASTE STONES
ENGRAVED FLORAL BEZEL SETTINS
A gorgeous Georgian necklace from the early 1900's with bright faceted Emerald Green high quality paste stones alternating with smaller faceted Clear round shaped paste stones.
The Emerald Green paste stones have a high glow, transparency and color like real Emeralds as they have a relatively high indices of refraction and a strong dispersion.
Both the backs and sides of the Emerald Green stones have engraving in a Floral Motif.
The necklace has 22 oval shaped Emerald Green links and 22 Clear round links and it measures approx. 16" in length and 5/16" wide. Originally, this necklace had a slide-in clasp but sometime in it's lifespan, the tongue of the clasp broke and it now has a spring-ring clasp on it. It is in wearable condition. This replacement clasp is reflected in the listing price.

consider this necklace to be in Excellent Vintage Condition, particularly for it's age, and it comes to you from a non-smoking home.
