Description

This is a 2 pc antique oval serving vegetable dish set in the Booths Dovedale Imari pattern.   Two in Total.
Measurement of the antique Booths Dovedale serving vegetable dish:  10" approx. from top left side to right side. 1 7/8" high.  Inside Oval area:  7 1/2" x 5 1/2".
The antique Imari pattern Booths Dovedale serving vegetable dish pattern is quite striking with heavy gold gilt designs and is in traditional Imari style colors of cobalt blue and rust. The design is of flowers and leaves in both blue and red.  The designs are on a white background which makes the colors really stand out.
The Imari pattern antique Booths Dovedale serving vegetable dish is in very good pre-owned condition & I do not see any obvious wear.
The antique Booths Dovedale serving vegetable dish may have some slight surface scratching from utensils wear consistent with some use and tiny manufacturing blemishes, only noticeable on very close inspection.
No obvious crazing to the antique Imari pattern Booths Dovedale serving vegetable dish or chips.  The gold seems to be in very good shape for china dinnerware that is over 100 years old.   No obvious wear to the gold gilt.  Surface wear to the bottom of the serving vegetable dish normal with rubbing against a shelf.
