    From the archives of MC Lilley, this listing is for an antique stamping die that was used to make West Virginia National Guard collar pins.  The state letters are 7/16” high and the Serial Number (#3104) dates to the 1917-1918 period. The steel die weighs 15 oz. The diameter is 1 ¾” and it stands 1 ⅜” high.  The condition is VF to Excellent with great pattern details and light humidity rust on the sides.
