The metal plate is  3  3/8 by 5.25 inches. The glass tube adds 1/2 inch. It has no issues with its condition. At the top of the gauge is  "Insurance at Cost"  Since  1882   DUNHAM  &  CHEMUNG  COUNTY  MUT.  FIRE  INS.  CO.  101  E. Brainard - Harvard      Silliman  Agency  - Woodstock      Robb  Agency -  Marengo       McClelland   Agency - Harvard.   The gauge was made in U. S.
