Georgian or Early Victorian large 10k gold agate stick pin cravat or hat pin

Description

Unusually large Georgian to Victorian stick pin with a beautiful juicy, polished orange agate cab in a glowing, 10k gold setting. The pin itself is thicker than a regular stick pin, so I’m assuming it was meant for a thicker fabric. Please see photo for size reference. Light bands can be seen in the stone when held to the light.
While the setting and stone are just gorgeous, there are a couple flaws to note. There is a hairline crack in the stone that can be felt if you run your fingernail over front, but not the back. The agate is not loose in the setting and is very secure. Second, the end of the pin has the slightest little bend downwards.
