    Large Lava Cameo Brooch/Necklace Antique Late 1800s Hand Carved High Relief Beauty Ceres w/ Wheat & Beads in Tendrils, Brass Setting Copper Necklace.
    The lava is most likely from the Pompeii area. Cameo came to me loose I permanently glued to an antique ornate brass setting added brooch clasp & ornate copper necklace. She measures 1 3/4" in by 1 3/8". i
    This is Ceres or Demeter, goddess of the harvest, fertility. This Antique Victorian Hand Carved Lava Cameo is a pristine wonderful treasure. The woman has a beautifully carved period Hair style adorned with flowing Grecian gown, jewelry. Very artfully executed!!
    Antique Lava Cameos are rare and hard to come by. Just imagine this cameo has been around for over 100 years!
