Japanese-Style Porcelain Tea / Sake Set 4 Cups. Navy Blue & Gold w/ Asian Design
The predominant colors are navy blue and gold with green and red decoration in a traditional Asian flower pattern.  The outside of the cups are color-matched to the pot, a design similar to the design on the pot with a gold stripe around the rim and a white glazing inside.
My best guess is that the underlying material is porcelain or similar. There do not seem to be any manufacturer's or country of origin markings.  I believe it has been handed down within the family for about 40 years.
The pot measures 4 1/2 inches to the top of the cover. From spout across to the end of the handle is 6 inches.  The pot bowl is about 4 1/2 inches in diameter.  The cups are 2 1/2 inches tall by 3 inches in diameter. All measurements are best estimate/approximate.
It's in very good used condition.  I didn't note any irregularities.
Please take a good look at the accompanying pictures.  They'll probably do a better job telling what this set is like than I could, because I'm out of my element in describing something like this.
