    Description

    North Carolina Official Highway Map for 1963, in excellent condition.  Full-color fold-out in 30 panels (3 rows by 10 columns), 45" wide by 22 1/2" tall unfolded.  One side has a full-width state map with 10 city focus maps above; the other side has "North Carolina / Variety Vacationland" text and color pictures, and a message from governor Terry Sanford.  (1963 was North Carolina's 300th anniversary.)  Only conditions issues are a 1" edge tear on the front panel (which has been taped inside) and a shorter one on the seam by Sanford's message.  Otherwise, map has no damage, and no writing or marks.
