    Pr 1909 Pre-WWI US ARMY COLONEL Eagle Collar Rank Pin Stamping Dies * MC Lilley
    From the archives of the MC Lilley, this listing is for an original matched PAIR of stamping dies that were used to make full bird Colonel collar pins.  The dies have sequential Serial Numbers (1483 & 1484) which date to the 1908-1909 period.  The lot also includes trimming tools to diecut (2 eagle outlines and one cutting plunger).  The dies have base dimensions 2 ⅛” x 3”, top dimensions are 1 ⅝” x 2½”, and the stands 2 ⅞” - 3” high.  The 2 dies weigh a combined 9 lbs and the trimming tools weigh an additional 4 lb 6 oz.  The condition is only Fine due to humidity pitting on the top.  Please look at all the photos and ask any questions.  See my other listings.  Free shipping is included for USA buyers.
