This piece is in fantastic original condition - the best we've seen. They're exceedingly rare, and only pop up once every decade or so on eBay. It's guaranteed authentic and as advertised. It also has the rare government engaving "For Exhibition Purpose Only" meaning this was likely once acquired by a museum, service academy, or Army base for display. This also means it was never worn, and displays extremely well for a piece that's over 110 years old.
