COVERED CASSEROLE & WARMER (#S8712)
This is New Old Stock and NEVER USED. It was taken out of its box for photos only and put back in. As you can see in the photos, the original paper is still covering the pieces (even though as you can see, that is starting to deteriorate from age). It is also still in its original box, but that also is changing colors due to age.
This is a Beautiful, Vintage, Mid Century Modern Look, Brass Casserole and Warmer (Chafing/Warming Dish).
The Dish is marked on the bottom: "448, Anchor Hocking, Fire King,
Ovenware,
12, Made in
U.S.A
., 2 QT., USA".
All of the pieces are in EXCELLENT CONDITION, as noted above; they are still wrapped in their original paper.
The measurements of the pieces are:  The Stand is:
4” High x 8-3/8” Diameter x 10” Wide (with the handle) x 6” High (with cover & handle).
The Bowl is:  3” High x 8 3/4” x 10” Wide (at handles).
Total height with bowl, stand and cover with handle in place is 7” Tall and is 10" Long End to End.
The Cover is the Brass Color on the outside, but it looks like there is a white plastic lining on the inside.
On one side of the box, it has stamped "296" (See Photos), not sure if this is the Model Number or not.
This would be nice to use for the Holidays or anytime, or just to display.
Sold only as a set.
