    Description

U.S.-Mexican Border Wars - A rare version of a "Soldiers Token".
Border War during the Mexican Revolution, circa 1916, involving Pancho Villa.  The obverse depicts a U.S. Soldier kneeling, firing a rifle & has a sword on his left side.  The reverse has The Lord's Prayer.  Tokens like these were given to loved ones who served in the military during the mid-1910s, including after the U.S. entry into WWI.  The Border War lasted from about 1910 to 1919 and featured the pursuit of Pancho Villa by General Pershing's forces into Mexico 1916-1917.
Would make a great gift for the Military Collector in your family or a fine addition to your personal collection.  You grade.  Selling all of my tokens "AS IS", no returns.  Free shipping!
