Really lovely vintage condition. Teapot has gilt wear due to use and age and one chip on the underside of the pot, which is not noticeable when sitting. Small flea bite chips on edge of one of the teapot petals and the inside of the teapot lid. Both the creamer and the sugar bowl are in excellent condition with light gilt loss.
The Pearl China Company was formed in 1931 by George and Dennis Singer as a pottery outlet. Their new store was opened in 1939 on Dresden Road in East Liverpool, Ohio and they distributed items from many companies including Homer Laughlin China Company. Some items will be marked Pearl China and some will be double stamped with both the Homer Laughlin and the Pearl backstamp.
