For sale is an original vintage medal from World War I. The brass-colored medal is marked United States Forces and The City of Evansville, Indiana, on the front. On the back, it is marked World War Presented To ... With Appreciation of the Citizens of Evansville, Ind. In Grateful Recognition of Patriotic Service 1917-1919. It measures 1 1/2 inches in diameter and is in very good condition. This hard-to-find memento would make a wonderful addition to any collection of Evansville or military memorabilia.
