WW1 WWI US Army Air Service Sweetheart Pin Insignia Propeller Wings
Sweetheart darkened pin insignia is in the shape of two wings and four blade propeller bearing silver letters U.S
Original period manufacture.
Pinback with open "C" catch. Pin opens and closes without issues; however, pin doesn't stay all the way in closed position (falls out).
No Makers marks.
Measures approx. 1" by 5/16".
Very Good condition with signs of wear and age to both the front and back of the insignia. Some patina is visible. Pin opens and closes without issues; however, pin doesn't stay all the way in closed position (falls out).
